Esteemed Colleagues, Distinguished Participants,
Due to the pandemic which has deeply impacted our country like the whole world, most of the congresses in 2020 have been held in the form of e-congress with remote access. Anticipating that pandemic process will continue towards a positive direction in the coming period, it has been decided to organize “10th Annual Congress of Contemporary Issues in Renal Diseases, Hypertension and Transplantation with International Participation” with participation in person on September 15-19, 2021 in NG Sapanca Convention Hotel. In addition, sessions will be shared live in virtual (hybrid congress) to increase knowledge sharing.
The congress which we organize as the Turkish Society of Hypertension, Dialysis and Transplantation leaves behind a decade, thus moves forward to assume a traditional position among nephrology congresses in our country. Besides reviewing the classical information, the contemporary information will be conveyed by our colleagues, who have been specialized in their fields, and will be further enriched with your precious attendance. We do believe that the scientific programme will take place with full interest, participation and follow-up of all participants.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
Please review the guidelines, presentation information and abstract-related policies before submitting your abstract.
- The deadline to submit an abstract to the Congress is July 30, 2021 at 23:59 in Istanbul time. Abstracts should be sent via online abstract agent on the Congress web page (https://www.abstractagent.com/2020hdt/ ).
- Only Turkish and English abstracts will be accepted.
- IMPORTANT: The presenting author is the sole point of contact for all abstract co-authors. The Scientific Committee will direct all co-author inquiries to the presenting author.
Guidelines
Please make special note of the following when preparing your abstract.
- Organize the abstract according to four sections, identified by the following headers: Objective, Material and Method, Findings, and Conclusions.
- Describe the objectives and results of the research in the abstract so that the Program Committee can evaluate the quality and completeness of the abstract. Abstracts will be judged solely on the basis of the data in the submitted abstract.
- Do not use proprietary names in the title or body of the abstract. If necessary, you may include the proprietary name in parentheses directly after the generic name on first use in the body of the abstract.
- Do not refer to study results or conclusions in the title of the abstract. The title should objectively describe the study.
- Do not include data table, figures and illustrations or graphics.
- Do not exceed 250 words, not including spaces, for the total of your abstract title, body, and table.
- Individuals may serve as first author of more than one abstract.
- Funding Source: Indicate whether the abstract was funded by a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company, a private company, a foundation, or another source. If the research is funded by a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or private company, please provide a contact person at the company. In order to successfully complete an online submission, authors will need to provide the following information:
- First Author (Presenting Author): The full name, institution (Example: “Marmara University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Pulmonolgy, Istanbul, Turkey”), telephone number, and email address of the first author is required. The first author (presenting author) will receive all future correspondence from the Scientific Committee.
- Coauthor(s): The name, institution, and email address of each coauthor. Academic degrees of coauthors are not needed.

- Oral Abstract Sessions and Poster Discussion Sessions will be made during the congress dates.
Abstract Selection Proces & Notification
Abstracts will be selected by the Program Committee for presentation at the Congress and for publication in the Klinik Seriler Nefroloji, Diyaliz ve Hipertansiyon Dergisi (Turkish Journal of Clinical Series, Nephrology, Dialysis and Hypertensiyon). Each first author will receive a letter of notification via email from the Committee regarding its decision on the abstract until September 1, 2020. It is their responsibility to share this information with all coauthors and study sponsors. If selected for presentation, the presenting author is responsible for registering for the conference.

Congress Language
The official language of the Congress is Turkish and Russian for the International Participants. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
